Librarian gives 37th Five Laws Lecture

IIITMK Librarian Sainul Abideen delivered 37th Five Laws Lecture organised by Documentation Research & Training Centre (DRTC) and Sarada Ranganathan Endowment for Library Science. 'Five Laws Lectures' are organised annually in memory late Prof. SR Ranganathan, father of Indian Library Science. 37th lecture was delivered on 30th Sept 2009 at SRELS, Bangalore on the topic "Blogging for Library and Information Services". Blogging- one of the web 2.0 application- is very much useful for providing many library services online. IIITMK has been using blogging for its information services and has got wide attention and appreciation from various corners of the World.

Library Orientation Programme

A Library orientation programme for the benefit of the students of the PGDeG and other newly joined staff members/trainees of the Institute is organised in the class room on 07.10.2009 during 1 PM-2.30 PM. This session demonstrates the digital Library and Information Services of the Institute.
