Digital Library and Information Services will provide user awareness program to new batch of MS(IT) students on 3rd August 2006 during 2 PM-4.30 PM. First IEEE Journal From 1913 available online

The IEEE this month made available to its online subscribers the earliestissues of its first technology journal, dating back to 1913. Currentlyknown as "Proceedings of the IEEE," the journal was titled "The Proceedingsof the IRE" when it premiered in January of 1913. The IRE (Institute ofRadio Engineers) was one of two predecessor organizations which merged toform the IEEE in 1963. "Proceedings of the IEEE" issues from 1963 forwardwere previously available online through the IEEE Xplore digital library.This update brings the first seven years of the title online (1913 - 1919);issues from later years will follow in the coming months. Digital Library and Information Services of Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management –Kerala Organized an exhibition of Books on Personality, Communication and Career Development on 27th June 2006 at IIITM-K. Main Objectives of this exhibition is to aware the members about the resources available in the library in a particular subject field and thereby improve the library services and help Students to prepare their placement interview by different companies.
